This Week's Events:

Jordan Makin Dry Comedy

• May 16th, 7-9PM

• “Jordan Makin became notorious on Dry Bar Comedy for his beef with improv troupes and his love affair with fitness tracking devices.”

This is the time to visit if you are an early riser as dawn is the coolest part of the day to enjoy hikes, bikes, even horseback riding which is now available at Snow Canyon State Park.  Quail Creek State Park is becoming a popular place for all to cool off in the water during these hot days, with a no wake zone for paddling on the North end, get there by 6pm to enjoy the sunsetting behind the surrounding mountains. They offer many water recreation rentals to chose from.

Tuachan shows are booming nightly now.  Try star gazing at Gunlock State Park May 28th or take in the night view from your own private balcony.  Visit with other guests while enjoying the front porch and yard during the mornings and dusk times.  Sunset hikes are great right now along with all bike riding during evening time before dark.  Bike the town and Virgin River trail using the bikes we have available, get a look at the high flowing river and maybe spot a kayaker or two going down it.

September and October

Autumn is coming quickly and there is no better time to stay at The Mulberry.  Our huge trees are gorgeous this time of year.  The weather mellows and feels like you are at your Grandma’s lazing on the porches & balconies.  The hiking this time of year is excellent and St. George starts having more festivals and fairs.

I am so excited for this time of year.  Flowers are popping up and the trees are budding. The temperatures are in the 60’s and 70’s. It is a great time to be in Utah’s Dixie. They call it that because the early settlers started out growing cotton down here. You won’t find cotton fields, but you will definitely find the local gardens are going in because we have a long growing season down here.  We also have some fun events happening:
