I am so excited for this time of year. Flowers are popping up and the trees are budding. The temperatures are in the 60’s and 70’s. It is a great time to be in Utah’s Dixie. They call it that because the early settlers started out growing cotton down here. You won’t find cotton fields, but you will definitely find the local gardens are going in because we have a long growing season down here. We also have some fun events happening:
-The Tuacahn Saturday Market is still available for outdoor shopping of artwork, crafts, food and entertainment from 9am to 1pm.
-The West Village Farmers Market is every first Wednesday of the month which supports local farmers, bakers and artisans from 4 to 7pm.
- And right across the street from us the Ancestor Square Market is starting up again on Saturdays.
-The Parade of Homes is from February 12th to the 21st. It’s an opportunity to take a peek at the new features of today’s modern homes and the incredible architecture and views of Southern Utah. This is a popular event, so book early.
-The St. George Arts Festival is April 2nd and 3rd. Come support our local artists. Southern Utah is rich in not only scenery, but artistry too.
-For some evening fun, head up to Tuacahn for their varied events including the Professional Bull Riders on April 2nd and 3rd. https://www.tuacahn.org
