Scarecrow Walk and Haunted Canyon

• “One of Southern Utah’s most popular fall events, the Scarecrow Walk & Haunted Canyon attracts residents of all ages. Dozens of scarecrows created by local residents and businesses will be displayed throughout the garden. The slot canyon will be decorated with skeletons and spiders to entertain you during this spooky season.”

Staheli Farm Corn Maize

• "Explore the corn maize at Staheli Farm.

  • The Maize opens on September 23 and will stay open until October 30.

  • The Farmland and Corn Maize are open during regular hours.

  • The Corn Maize is just a short walk away from Farmland and is NOT HAUNTED.

    • Closed Sundays.

    • Monday – Wednesday: 5 PM – 9 PM

    • Thursday: 5 PM – 10 PM

    • Friday & Saturday:  Noon – 10 PM

    • During Oct. 12 – 14 (Fall Break): Thursday – Saturday,  Noon – 10 PM!”

Field of Screams

• “Join Staheli Family Farms for their field of screams attraction. Try not to scream as you walk the trails of this creepy corn maze, which offers many new scenes and experiences.

• THIS ATTRACTION MAY NOT BE SUITABLE FOR ALL AGES. While all ages are welcome, only the brave will come. They recommend ages 12 and older.

Spook-track-ular

Ghost Nights at Silver Reef

• “Come celebrate Halloween with a trip back in time to meet the ghosts of some long-gone citizens of a 19th-century mining town. These folks came from all over the world and made Silver Reef a booming settlement that, for a while, was the largest and most exciting town in Southern Utah.

• Join us if you want a bit of ghostly fun mixed with real history. You will laugh, learn, and maybe even shiver as you listen to tales about life in the Old West!”

Frankenstein

• October 24th-26th

• “St George Dance Company is excited to adapt to the stage one of the greatest scary stories ever written! Mary Shelley’s “Frankenstein”, written in 1818, has been a classic since, but has never been adapted for the screen in its true spirit. None of the films made so far have told the real story. Readers of the book are often surprised to find that the monster is not a slow, inarticulate, green brute. Shelley crafted a scary villain because of his cunning and manipulative intelligence, which St. George Dance Company will bring to life through dance. Andrielle Davidson directs them.”

The Addams Family

Southern Utah Blues Festival

• October 26th

• “This is the inaugural year of the Southern Utah Blues Festival (SUBF), produced by the Red Rock Music Association and Tuacahn Center for the Arts. Although in its infancy, the SUBF promises to be one of the finest quality Blues festivals in the country, with a lineup of award-winning bands and artists performing at one of the premier outdoor venues in the nation, the Tuacahn Amphitheatre.

• The festival lineup includes SOUTHERN AVENUE – 2024 Band of the Year Nomination, Grammy Nomination for Best Contemporary Blues Album, GHOST TOWN BLUES BAND – 2022 BB King Entertainer Of the Year nominee, 2020 BB King Entertainer of The Year winner, JIMMY CARPENTER – Grammy Award winner, Multiple BMA nominations for Horn Player of the Year, JORDAN MATTHEW YOUNG – finalist of the 2021 television series, The Voice, TAS CRU – Recipient of the Keeping the Blues Alive Award, 2016 Best Emerging Artist nominee and DICK EARL’S ELECTRIC WITNESS – 3rd place winner of the 2023 International Blues Challenge.
